We're delighted to be named the 4th best place for brunch in Britain by The Times newspaper yesterday. We're all in high spirits and chuffed our mission of tea and goodtimes is spreading across the UK. Thank you to all our regulars and first time visitors for being so kind in reviews and the like.
In case you can't quite see the above, the nice folks at The Times said 'Oh to have one of these near by. A modern space with a good vibe that morphs from cafe to music venue to Scrabble club to pudding club to vintage fairs. And the bar prides itself on its range of loose-leaf teas and delicious home-made cakes. Envy.'

Capstans Bazaar - The Beginnings

We are very excited to announce a new member of the LEAF family... Capstans Bazaar - a new art market that focuses on quality and originality.
Capstans Bazaar would like to invite applications for artists/makers to take part the brand new monthly Arts Market to be held upstairs at LEAF on Bold Street. Their emphasis is on quality and originality, and all submissions will be judged on their individual merits, to ensure that the highest quality of diverse talent within the region is represented. The market will be supported by a strong promotional campaign and will be launched on the weekend of this year’s Bold Street Festival. Subsequent events will then be held monthly, usually on a Sunday. To apply please email capstansbazaar@gmail.com by 15th July for an application form.

Join the Wu Tang Clan for a game of chess

We are launching our brand new monthly chess club with a bang on Friday 22nd April. Wu Chess was co-founded by GZA from the Wu Tang Clan, and as part of his tour we are hosting a Wu Chess knockout-style competition with the final 3 competitors winning the place to play GZA. The winner will receive free CD’s, signed chess set and free tickets for future shows hosted by FULEforFire.

RIP LEAF at Baltic

We are very sad to announce today that Leaf at Baltic, on Parliament Street is now closed. Due to irresolvable issues with our landlord we have closed the site as of this weekend. We would like to thank all of our amazing loyal customers who made our journey so special. We're looking forward to seeing everyone soon at Bold Street and we will be opening the first floor on Monday with lots of treats in-store.
It's a sad day in Leaf HQ, but know there are wonderful adventures ahead... RIP Leaf at Baltic - you will be missed x
