RETRO SUNDAYS VINTAGE FAIR

On the last Sunday of every month, LEAF plays host to our longest-running regular event – Retro Sundays Vintage Fair, run by the much-loved Pillbox Vintage.  Our relationship with these lovely folk began 6 years ago, when LEAF was based on Parliament Street, and has continued to thrive to this day on Bold Street.

Between the hours of 11am – 5pm on these Sundays, the stallholders set up shop on our first floor and provide a fantastic array of vintage garments and accessories. The quality of stock on offer is of course paramount to the success and loyal following of the business, and this is something they have refused to compromise on.  All stalls featured in the fair sell vintage and only vintage, and as the stallholders do not have shops, costs are competitive.  The range of items on sale is eclectic, from hats to home ware, and Pillbox Vintage are very proud to boast an excellent men’s range, this being a section sometimes neglected in vintage fairs.

Pillbox Vintage are a local, independent business, and they have grown over the years through the ability to keep fresh and relevant, whilst continuing to attract their loyal fan base back again and again.  Although there are a variety of vintage fairs in Liverpool, there are some particular aspects of Retro Sunday that have secured it as a firm favourite in the vintage calendar.  The fair has always been a free entry event, which is something Pillbox are very passionate about.  Simply put by Katy Moussaada, director of Pillbox Vintage, ‘why would you pay to shop?!’

Venue choice is also a key consideration, with a friendly and lively atmosphere being a trademark.  There is always food and drink on offer from the host venue, enhancing the overall experience of shopping vintage, and we love having these fantastic stalls on show for our customers.  This boutique fair is the perfect chance to bag something stylish, original and highly affordable all in the relaxed setting of LEAF, and we hope you continue to enjoy shopping retro with us, and Pillbox Vintage.  Gather your friends and revel in Retro Sundays.
