Join Katie from Daughter of Dawn Design in this modern calligraphy workshop, where we will start from the very beginning and learn the basics of nib and ink calligraphy.
We will all enjoy a lovely glass of Prosecco as we cover the basics of calligraphy, from practicing strokes, to creating letterforms, to joining letters. Then at the end, you can write out your own quote - whether it be from a book, a song, a poem, or something you came up with yourself. We can then frame it up for you to take away and hang in your home.
You will also go home with your ink, nib and nib holder, and the worksheets, to carry on practicing as much as you like!
Whether you are looking to pick up a new hobby, learn a new skill, or simply just have a fun evening and meet new people, this workshop is open to all. Calligraphy is a wonderful skill to have when it comes to making wedding invitations and place cards, making greetings cards, creating quotes to be framed, writing gift tags, and so much more.
